Fish Eddy’s: a New York favourite

If you’ve visited New York, you might be familiar with Fish Eddy’s, a fab ceramics/kitchenware store which you can find at 889 Broadway (at 19th Street). Their stuff is quirky, individual and affordable. You can see their whole range online. Unfortunately for us Brit-based folk, the shipping fees can be bonkers to buy direct, but Liberty now stocks a very small selection of their goodies.

I’m yet to purchase any myself (on a spending ban pending the big house move), but think even one small piece can add character and charm to an otherwise plain space. I particularly like this small dish, available from Liberty, and think it would raise a smile placed on your guest room bedside table. Moreover, it’s a brilliant item for the husband to deposit his keys, receipts, wallet (basically contents of pockets). I’ll remember this one for his birthday in October.
